Lookin good

thanks i appreciate it, this is the look im trying to go for, not set on it, just getting some ideas together, im want to keep it simple and accent on certain parts. i like the big red tail lights, they are unique.. either way you look at them they are big red things, and there is nothing else red on the car, i want to bring that from the back of the car around to the sides and maybe have some bright shiny red calipers, im going to put alot of work into the wheels to make them very glossy....its a work in progress

So you just painted the green white?

Almost patrol car looking. Throw a lightbar on there

eh jealous i say you paint the calipers black....would look better then red. pleaaassseeeeee

I like summer, everyone starts working on their car since they couldn't over winter.I say you get those wheels black chromed. I saw some at a powder coating place the other day, so SICK!!!!!!!!!!!

I would say the same thing for red i think is for a more racing thing. Just my 2 cents. I painted mine a metallic black and the backing plates Aluminium.

i wish i could have just painted the green white, but matching the tri-pearl isnt easy and i wanted a fresh layer of black anyways to have a thicker coat for wet sanding..as of now ive sanded down the bottom half green/black, primed, sanded, re-painted the entire black part up to where the green ended. im still wet sanding and polishing to bring back the shine now its a pita

i like bright colored calipers, they look cool as the wheel spins, i just want all the colors to flow, im trying to imagine a white and black car, with shiny black rims, what colors would look best for calipers, red would automaticaly draw anyones attention to the wheel area, but its not just about the calipers either, i want it to flow as one nice looking car, my first idea was to paint them white??? lol black, white, red --- still have some work before i take the wheels off though

Stock calipers(painted red) and rotors... What about a gloss black and a small Lincoln star painted red on them? Someone did that on here IIRC.

And +1 on the black chrome.

Looking good. Keep it up.

thanks

i already pictured how quick white calipers would get dirty, but i thought if i really polished them then the grease and dust would easily come off, but i probably will do the gloss black with the red star, and i have seen black chrome paint in stores, i thought about how they would look painted a black metallic so black chrome is close so i may try that but thats later on for right now lol

I dont know if it is me that you were talking about but here are how mine came out. Powder coated gloss black and with the logo baked on. The logo looks sweet, except for the size. Since I have an extra set, when these go on, I will probably get the front ones powder coated black as well and just have the logo hand drawn on there by someone.

If you go with white calipers, you could do a black lincoln logo to make it looks nicer, or maybe the letters "LS"

I wish it would've came out a little bigger, something along these lines

Looks great man, SO much better than the green :p:, I say go for black calipers, otherwise (IMO) your gonna have too much going on, I say go with the black chromed wheels also, ive seen a few SUVs/cars out here with them, and its just flat out sick!

i would love to do a thin pin strip but i wouldnt know what color, its looking pretty decent right now, ill get some better pictures of the lines later

maybe just a metalic gray or silver strip. Barely noticeable unless your up close. The color break line would really pop.

The calipers look sick. I like it. What about white rims with black calipers too? Did you stencil anything black on the calipers? Maybe "LS"
