depending on whether he has a sedan or coupe, he's lighter by 400-500 pounds. But then again you have like 35 more ponies

High 15s, low 16s for him, he might just barely get you, and look ugly while doing it. You'll slaughter him on handling though. Brakestand the hell out of it and remove extra weight like the spare and jack if there's money on it. Oh yeah, a near empty gas tank weighs a lot less too!

LS v6 auto is not really quick. Its ok after 50mph, but from dead stop its pretty damn slow. You can try to race him but i think he might beat you just a bit.

He's lighter so if he can launch it he will probably win. I have a 5 speed manual so I can get off the line as good or better then a stock v8 but your auto is badly hurting you off the line.

If you want more power then the best thing you can do on the gen one is an exhaust.

Also experiment with power braking. If you can't spin the tires at all try putting some air in the rear tires until you get a little spin. Don't exceed the tires maximum pressure though.

You drive a Lincoln and he drives a Pontiac. Who gives a sh#t, even if he is car is faster.

If it bothers you that much, go hit up some highway ramps. LS's got good handling.

You have a conical filter? You'll need an adapter to mount it on the MAF sensor and something to hold the MAF sensor up.

Like said earlier at the end of the day you are driving a luxury vehicle and he is driving a family car.

Yeah, its unfortunate that some ppl dis the LS, but you cant listen to them. I had some dude tell me that its for old ppl (no offense to any members)....so i asked him what he drove,, he said a honda fit....i laughed and asked what does that have, like 110hp? he stopped talking.....

Its true that the LS is a luxury car, but its one of the nicest looking cars still out there today

Personally, win or lose, you still have the LS, he doesnt....
