I live outside of the Atlanta area and man there is tons of LS's around. I was wondering about the quantity of LS's in other area's of the country. I was in Wisconsin for a week and only saw one other. Just got back from South Carolina and North Carolina and again I only saw 1 LS.
Driving to work this morning and I see 4 different ones. This area is saturated with them, which is to bad because they are so good looking and when you see some many each day they do not catch your eye as much.

In Minnesota and Wisconsin I only see them around occassionally and they are usually stock driven by your typical family. I do see a modified one around here and there but not as much widespread in these areas.

I see quite a few around here from time to time. Other times I don't see any. The ones I do see, though, just usually have tint. A few I've seen have wheels or an LSE/McLaren grille. That's about it.

Every where I have been I see tons of them but I have only seen a few with minimal extras that pretty much only being wheels and tint or the gody chrome pillars.

In the last year, I have seen alot more come out. I think it is from end of lease and dealer trade ins. That are being sold as used cars. I see alot more
1st Gen than 2nd gen cars. Alot of them are still in stock trim with just maybe tint.

dudeinthething - I just got into ATL today. I did see 2 LS's on the way to the place where I'm staying. What's there to do in this town? I'm not a drinker, so that's out...

I see a few gen 2's around in Brooklyn. someone down the block from me has had a clean silver gen1 for a while. If I see a gen1 it's usually a 50 year old guy driving. In philly I saw a few more gen1's, with wheels

The Georgia Aquarium, largerst in the world. Stay out of down town at night. Not the best place to be. What are you looking to do?

Drive North about an hour and go racing at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce. Or go about a half hour to Athens, which is a college town. Tons of bars and a strip joint that me and the guys frequent when we're down there for the Southern Super Heavy Shootout every November. Beware of flap jack titties, though. :D

here in Ann Arbor MI, the LS is king along with CTS and 3 series, that is all you see, all day long. BTW if you ever want to buy a V6 w/ 100,000+ miles cheap, this is the place to come. on one road there is about 11-13 dealerships in less than a mile and there is prob 10-15 Ls's available at any time how ever a V8 and/or low miles is gonna cost you. you cant even run to Quizno's with out passing 4 LS's, 3 CTS's, and 5 BMW's.

Still see tons of them here in NC, yet to see my old one though, which I suppose is a good thing.

In my city, every where you look you see one, though in my city there are a lot of first Gen than the seconds Gen, second Gen you see here and there but first gen, teens aint buying no Honda Civic's or Volksbagons, ( lol ) i guess their into Lincoln LS, that luxuary plus perfomance.

Tom- I flew, so the drag strip is out. And I'm not a drinker (anymore) so a college party town is probably not the best place to maintain my sobriety ;)

I think I talked the girlfriend to go to the aquarium... she wants to visit the zoo. We have a 1 year old, so we're debating where he'd have the most fun. I'm not really diggin the idea of 95 degrees, near 100 percent humidity, and outside in the sun. Is the majority of the aquarium out in the open? Or underground?

And to stay on topic, I just saw a bright orange LS,, 1st gen, body kit, etc. on the freeway today. It was "different." I say different because I don't want to offend the owner, if he's a member here.

And King03LS8, I'll check out espnzone. looks like it might be kinda cool.

Oops, sorry man. Didn't know. In that case, I'll have plenty for you when I'm down there again this November. :D Enjoy the trip :)

Dude do the aquarium. You the kid and the girlfriend will not regret it!

I had so much planned that I had made a list of what I did cause there is so much we couldnt do it all. I plan on going back soon and starting exactly where I left off.

Whoooops.

Oh yeah and make sure if you go to the aquarium that you get up early and pack a big diaper bag cause you will be there for a while.

Thanks, jwerner (and everyone else who reccommended the aquarium.) I think this sounds likea much better option than the zoo!
