I counted six different people interested in this...thats funny. Most of those interested are car show or race track guys who should tow a trailer to carry their ego. All that kind of stuff, MySpace, AOL, Cardomain, etc. seems kinda lame to me, just not my bag of tea. I am someone though that doesnt go around seeking approval. I am willing to bet that most dont care about getting rated or whatever. Enjoy though.

Not sure what that means, but some websites have small benefits. Its not seeking approval as much as it is enjoying and being proud of something you have put time, effort, and money into. If you dont have a hobby or any activity for that matter, that gives you a competitive side, than you may get bored with life. Im sure you have something that you like to show off. whether its a car, children, house, job, something. most men and women i know, have some sort of competitive side.

I understand the "being proud of something" idea and yes its good to have a hobby. But some do certain things JUST to show off or seek approval, to me thats gay and adding the internet aspect to it (myspace) takes the gayness to a whole new level. I have seen people balking about others "ruining" their ratings and taking that crap waaaay too serious. Again, in my opinion its gay. Sorry if that offends you.

we need to make a name first.. r we going to decide on a name or what not?
 
I put a name just so i could setup the page. right now it is Missing Linc (Lincoln Owners Car and Truck Club) Like i said this is easy to change. I have invited some of the rmr members and everyone on here is welcome. Any suggestions on names. I am also working with an rmr member on developing a sig for our page. to anyone interested feel free to post up.

Nah, not required i'll let it slide this time. But to be honest, i can respect your involvment with your car. I dont know you personally but you do things on a more professional(if thats the right word?) level than most regarding shows and the fact that you actually win supposedly. But there are far more posers out there, not anyone particular from here, but just in general all over the roads everywhere you go. And some take the internet clubs and ratings and posts and myspace crap way to serious. You gotta admit that? But for what you guys seem to explain this club deal is about "ratings" and "challenges", dont even understand it all but it just seems lame to me. Something like this forum that anyone can show a pic and have normal diaglog is good enough. That other stuff to me takes things a little too far. But like i said, if thats for you then enjoy.
