Last night we installed a light bar in my friend's 01 Mustang GT convertable. It was surprisingly easy to install, and the wiring for the brake light was super simple too. The pic is from my cell phone as the sun was going down and we were putting the interior back together. He is slowly turning it into a show car, we will be installing the rear seat tonoue covers soon.
Actually though, has anyone been in an 01 mustang lately, and then gotten back in the LS? Holy cow, what a difference! His 01 mustang has about 70k miles on it, my 01 LS has about 120k miles on it, so I've got about 50k more than him. We both have leather, and mine looks worlds better than his does. The entire interior of the mustang is extremely cheap looking when comparing it to the LS. I sometimes feel like my interior is cheapy when looking at similar model Acuras and such, but it made me feel better after being in his car
. The plastics and switch gear look waaaaaaaay older than the stuff in my lincoln. If I didn't already know it, I would never had assumed his car was made in the same year as mine. It feels like 10 years older than the lincoln. So....it made me appreciate my car a little more.:L just thought I'd share that.
