I was just curious how long did you guys run your RCA's for your systems?.... I was gonna just order 20'... but I need 3 and figured if I could get by with 16's I could save a little money... I have a 97' mark... thanks

I am pretty sure mine are 20 and thank god they are not shorter. You really would be surprised how fast you use up cable. Just from the head unit to the rocker could use 4 feet alone. Of course you dont want to go too long either. I think mine have stinger ends that are done by hand. You could go that route also. Buy so many feet and custom length the cables.

Yeah I didn't think about that route either... I'm pretty handy with the soldering gun maybe I'll just do that... I did see some nice stinger and rockford 20 foot's for around 20 bucks a piece which isn't terrible... I just really don't want any whine in my sound... I can't stand it... thanks for the help man...

I have no interference in my system and my cables are not shielded. As long as you do not run them on the same side as power you should be fine.

i have 3 set of rca's in my car and all 3 sets are 15 footers and they are plenty long. my amps are right behind the seat in the trunk and i still have enough slack to pull the box and amps all the way to the end of the trunk for any kind of adjusting.

That's awesome!!... it's not really the price of the shielded ones that were really making me cringe it was that you can't really find good ones... I mean the non shielded ones actually look like they're better construct... really sad too... but thanks for the info... I think I'm gonna go with anything I can find between 16 and 20...
