I took apart my thermostat housing again today (did once yesterday). Put it back together with another new o-ring. It is dripping about 1 drip every 10 seconds. I torqued it on to 7 ft-lbs. Is there anything I'm missing? If I put rtv all around the seal could that stop the drip? I'm open for ideas. I broke the drive off my 3/8 craftsman ratchet breaking the screws on the housing yesterday (I think they were on much tighter than they should have been. I broke the drive off 2 craftsman 1/4 drive ratchets trying to open the crossover before going to a pair of vice grips. Any advice on what to do here would be appreciated.
