You'll likely want to experiment. I know guys that swear at 1000 rpms, I seem to do better at 2000 rpms, other times at 1500 rpms. I would say with a stock converter, 1000 to 1500 in your case. Consistency is the key. But again, practice to find what works best and be aware it takes a LOT to get used to cutting good lights when stalling the converter vs. leaving off idle (at least for me it does). You also likely will find you need to stage shallower than normal to get your RTs where you want.
