Well guys, the girlfriend needed something a little newer and we were looking for something more family oriented. So we picked up a 2007 Ford Escape Limited from one of the local Ford dealerships. Cost us $14,500, was hoping for a little less but they had it listed at $15,995, so I don't feel like we came out too bad.

Leather interior, heated seats, audiophile sound system (big whoop, that will get replaced sometime in the near future probably!), I'm sure there is more but I'm not going to waste my time. Overall, it's a pretty nice vehicle.

Your GF should like the Escape. Our daughter has an '03 XLT V6 and she absolutely loves it. Good size, no-fuss 4wd and not too bad on gas. And with the Limited, you've got even more comfort and looks. Good luck with the new Escape!

wow someone drove it alot in the last year! almost 30k already on an 07. looks nice though, cant argue with the price on a near new vehicle.

It was first registered in Dec. of 2006, so it has almost 2 years on it. It was originally registered as a ford vehicle. It was either one driven by a Ford employee or a program vehicle. We're not really for sure which but it's not in too bad of shape. The drivers side tires have some cut in the tread which is causing some horrible road noise. I'm contacting the dealer today to see if there is anything we can do about that. It has a couple little flaws here and there but nothing too noticeable.
