Im in the market for some and got a quote here for 2500 and thats way to high. I know someone on here said 900 total. I need them for my LS and a 05 grand cherokee. Also if someone lives relatively close and knows how to install we would pay airfare. Any info would be great, thanks. Dont wanna hear the "lambo doors are gay and stupid" whole thing, just some help on quotes.

The kit I get is a 5 difficulty level on a scale of 10. I have sold some kits that I did not want to install because of the type of car. Some of the cars were just too expensive or new and I was afraid of scratching them during the install. For these guys, they have told me that it cost them 700 to 1200 for the install at some local shops. I am selling a kit to a guy on here as soon as his check clears. During his install I will see if he will post his opinion of the kit. I would expect the cheapest install and parts you will find will be in the range of 2000 . Before I made my venture this was the lowest I could find. Weld on kits will be more expensive due to the labor. Can check out my cardomain page for some install pics.

itsnotmydaddys, where in st. louis you from? I've been tryin to get quotes for lambos as well, but just as high as what your lookin at, if i find anythign else i'll let you know

My kit cost $1000 for the hinges. I think I spent about that on installation as well. I have a weld on kit that took more time.

Seems close to what you are getting.

You probably get what you pay for. I've seen kits that look scary when you open them. Like a slight breeze would knock the door off. Flimsy as hell.

the brand u go with will determine how flimsy the hinge is.. i recommend wingdoors.com over all the others.. u can also check out GT factory, vertical doors, etc. etc.. if u want a really cheap price and don't care about brand.. check out carsponsorships.com... they offer vertical doors now..

as far as the install goes.. i wouldnt recommend flying anyone in.. primarily because if u have a problem with the door.. i'm sure ur not going to want to have them flying in everytime.

i got mine for 1500 installed december of 2005... i know the prices have changed and so forth.. the bolt-on wingdoor kit goes for about 900+... it also depends on the weight of the doors (LS door is light)..

im sure decibals would be able to help u on the price.. go to a shop and ask them how much the labor is per hour? it's about a few hours of a job.. depending on if u go weld-on or bolt-on.. you prolly could install it urself if u have the right tools and a little help...
