I have a bit of Clean up/Revision on the head mating side, but they are getting there.

I've been busy with these IMRC deletes, and working out in the yard. I found a couple billet actuators that seem to have enough throw for the IMRCs. I'm just worried about the strength needed to open them. The gen2 Plates have ALOT more spring pressure holding the secondaries closed.

I HIGHLY reccomend you have your guy do a prototype set out of abs plastic, and then install em' and let me know what *IF* any interference issues you have.


They are VERY close on the dimensions, but I can't promise a perfect fit the 1st time around.
 
Sorry, I am new so dont know the whole back story. Are these supposed to flow more then the stock ones? I heard you say a billet actuator so that negated my first thought that you were designing a delete kit.
I know delete kits are redily available and the stock ones can be had easy enough so I assume you are making a better flowing design?

Hey how hard would it be to set them up for some nitrous plumbing?
would only take 8(for dry) or 16 (for wet) holes drillled and tapped.

you could run the lines under the intake for that "stealth install".
Since it'd be AT the IMRC plate, no worries about "fuel puddling".
 
Not a bad idea tommy... You could inject all sorts of stuff!

I need to know what size AN fittings your gonna use for the injectables, as well as if you want a dry/wet setup.
 
OK, I have NO idea what size fittings should be used for nitrous, but these are 1/8" NPT, spaced 6MM apart. The back flange is also thicker for a bit more strempth, but a plus side (for the machinist anyway), is they are easier to machine.



Stack, tell your guy that I can go back through the front side and change the geometry to make it ALOT more CNC friendly, they just won't look as cool. To follow are some quick renderings of the nitrous mods, along with a comparison of the back flanges.

Since the square port already has the fuel injector spraying into it wouldnt it allow for a better mixture and atomization to spray the secondary fuel into the round port instead?
 
It only gets all mixed up in YOUR HEAD kid!!! Effing City boys... :P
