Hmm...I've been "trolling" LVC for likely MANY more years than you've even known about it. I've never had a problem with you, but if you truly have a problem with a little light-hearted fun amongst members, maybe you should just move on to markviii.org. You can have all the boring, serious conversation you want...

No I get it, I don't have a problem with you or having a little fun, I was just posting a serious question that I didn't expect that kind of answer for that's all..its all good.

I dont have a problem with any members on LVC and have real life relationships and dealings with quite a few members here buying and selling cars, parts, and going on cruises. This is a great place.

Kevin, Ive seen you flat out bash peoples asking prices and items on many for sale threads with no intention whatsoever on purchasing...so calling a member a troll for saying "paint" is quite comical...it seems every other thread I open around here youve got some kind of opinion about, and its generally not positive or helpful.

well, sorry if i offend anyone about my opinions..by all means call me out if what I say is out of line. And if I see something thats for sale that is overpriced, chances are it's something that I've been trying to find, and it doesn't help that people are jacking up the prices on 20 year old used parts, but whatever not gonna keep going about this as i'm sure nobody else cares

the org is like being in boot camp....i myself have been kicked out of there 2 times....and ive been a member since back in the days before LVC.

By the way, I'm a fireman for 3 different towns so ball busting is something we do all day everyday, so if you think I get offended easily, you're wrong, but it's a bit different on the internet..hard to tell when someones ****ing around or intentionally trying to make you look like an idiot..there's also a time and place for ball busting and sometimes it gets frustrating when you're trying to be serious..but like I already said above, it's all good.
 
Ok boys n girls... Enough of the trollin!

I finished the passenger side today. What a world of a difference. Tomorrow I will take pictures of what my base moldings look like so you guys see what I mean by a "world of a difference". They were pretty deteriorated so I'm very happy with my end results.


Anyway, this is the route I took today to remove the old gunky 2-sided tape after removing the old moldings. Check it out...

I used the wire wheel to remove all the adhesive & man did it work awesome! Best part about that? SUPER SMOOTH surface!

When taking apart this 1/4 panel molding from the donor CE 6 months ago I yanked it too hard & literally ripped it in half. Well, all that's left of that incident is a small scar that's barely visible.

Now that everything's in place, I gotta say, I'm happier than a f@g with 2 @sses! I've been wanting to do this for a while & it's a bit painful but well worth it! CE moldings look so nice. Now I'm off to look for another set for my BoB. Why not? :D
