Just got these in the mail...

Ever since I first saw them a couple years ago on the Shelby GT, I've wanted them. I think they are some of the coolest looking emblems I've ever seen. They're the "Powered By Ford" emblems. The only thing is, they're much bigger than they look. I was playing around with the idea of putting them on my 98 LSC, but I don't know if they'll look dumb or not. What do you guys think? They cost a pretty good amount of money, so I'd rather use them, but again, I don't want it to look dumb....

OOPS! Yeah, I got them. lol. I haven't had a chance to put them on yet though. Just wondering, did you clearcoat them too?

Somehow, I don't think they would look good on the center of my "Powered By Ford" COP covers....

yes i cleared them, they were sprayed with dupont chromabase ebony black and cleared with dupont chromabase clear, real paint out of a gun, not a rattle can!

The idea is to lose weight, not add more weight. The Mark VIII is portly enough as it is. One once here, three ounces there... They add up.
