Just wondering, but is there any reason why you have two accounts on here?

Stugots: Sometimes I am unable to be kept logged in on my computer with that account. It'll say Redirecting then immediately back to the login screen. I'm not too tech savy, so the easiest way out was to make another one. Mods can delete the other one if they'd like.

Hmmm, wonder if this would also reset the green LED lamps,
when I dimm my dash to very low, My first digit currently a "1" dims to a "7"
the line at the very top of that digit read out is show, thus looking a little like a "7"

Might just try this and see if it refreshes all the digits.

Just a little detail for you. The odometer and message displays are not green LEDs. They are vacuum fluorescent displays, a very different (and older) technology. Much like CRT monitors, they get phosphor burn with use and fade out.

See now here I go learning again! +1

You're killing me here Joe!

Then I found this:

Information and Message Center

The message center display is a green vacuum fluorescent, fixed format display.
The message center display is integrated within the instrument cluster (10849) and cannot be replaced separately...

It's either replace the whole thing or put up with the fact that when I dim down to it's lowest setting,
it reads 703K miles as apposed to 103K miles.

<shrugs>

I think that the dimmable LEDs referred to are the LED backlights in the switches, such as the window and lock buttons.

Yup. Thanks for the correction, I was too quick to refer to them as LED's in the Information and Message Display.
Same for the Radio and Temp readouts. Rear view mirror read-outs also, I'd imagine.
