Jamies next Mark...

ooooooooooo thats near me, kinda, i gotta watch ebay and see if it sells, and if so, how much? 8k now and reserve still not met, beautiful car tho

At under five grand on the odometer, that thing is basically a new car. But for ten grand on a car that sold for $40k+ that is a freaking steal.

I'm curious to know what the reserve is.

Probably more than any of us can afford.

it sure is nice, but you'll never see me pay that much for any mark VIII, people say a mark VIII is worth what someone will pay for it, i wont say it isnt worth its current price, because alot of people will cry if i say that, but i wouldnt spend anywhere near that, and i couldnt see myself in an 11 year old car with no miles on it, i'd be to scared that everything on it is bone dry and junk, i'd rather spend 4 grand and buy it with 100k on it. but it is the right deal, cordovan on light graphite. i have decided though, i am either going to replace my black 98 lsc with the exact same thing, or i'm buying an 87-93 black lx mustang notchback with a 5 speed. i really want a v-8 with a stick again, one so no one in my house can possibly drive it but me, plus i really would like a car to beat the hell out of, i cant see me beating the hell out of a lincoln, just doesnt feel right to treat one like that. so when i get up some more money, i'm gonna look for another black 98 lsc, and a black notchback, whatever one comes by first, will be my next ride.

I just find this quote ironic! I know you don't beat the hell out them you disassemble them but it just seems ironic. Oh well, it is a nice car and this guy apparently knew what he was doing when he bought it but like you said, it probably would die just from the lack of driving that it has received. It is a beautiful car though.

that thing is SWEET!!!!!!! I saw one in Vineland, NJ at the Aldi food mart, looked like this, but had tan interior. Car had 19k on it, old woman driving it, she didn't want to sell, but I gave her my number anyways. Never heard from her or saw the car again :( This was about a year ago

few years ago I came out of work and there was on in the parking lot.... beat to hell, poor car :(

P.s that car would be a great canidate for a terminator swap hehe

stang

jamie! Check out my myspace page and look at my pics. There are some of my notchback I sold over the summer. You probably would have liked that!!!

Its hard to put a value on that car, yes it is 11 years old, but milage wise its new....besides, what else compares to a mark VIII these days????
