I noticed a few days ago that my car has Jaguar serpentine belt on it. The car was very well taken care of, so I am guessing the previous owner had it serviced at a Jaguar dealership.

I know the S types, XFs share the same platform as the LS, but I would imagine the belt routing would be different on the S types....meaning shorter/longer?

I gotta say though, the leaper/s look pretty cool on the belt.

There are differences between the LS V8 and the Jaguar V8 (mainly the top of the engine), but AFAIK they do use the same belt and same routing.

Usually, it works the other way around. Many S-type owners by Lincoln LS parts because they have considerably less mark up than the Jaguar parts. Either way, they are manufactured by the same companies and the only difference is the final labels on the boxes and/or parts.

Do you know if it came with a Jag belt from factory? I'm getting ready to change my tensioner and I noticed I have a Jag belt also. Wondering if the belt was changed before.

I know that the last ones I ordered under the Ford part number from Ford say Jaguar on the belts themselves.
