So when I jump in the LS to go for a cruise everything starts off just fine. After driving for a while the temp gague will slowly climb up and then go back down to normal but never over heats. Every since fixing the transmission this has been happening but when the tranny was messed up it would actually over heat. Now it was previously leaking antifreeze btu thats not happening anymore. I have bled the coolant system 4 times already and that seems to be good also. Its not really causing a problem since it doesn't over heat I'm just curious to see if this is normal.

No, it's not close to normal. The gauge is buffered (it lies). If it goes above the mid point at all, you really are overheating.

Leaks don't fix themselves. Any leak can let air in, and that will cause overheating. It sounds like your leak(s) are still at the level that the degas bottle can almost handle it. There are many overheat threads on here. It generally comes down to:

1. Replace all plastic cooling system parts.
2. Correctly bleed all the air out.
3. On gen I, check the hydraulic cooling fan operation.

There's probably still a leak. It wouldn't just fix itself.

Well let me add that what I did was replace all of those factory clamps with aftermarket clamps and tightened them up. Since then I haven't see any leaks but yes it is still possible that there is a leak some where I just don't see it on the ground anywhere.

Now as far as the fan goes it does start off running low but when the gauge starts to go back down I can hear the fan running louder.

well with a lot of the plastic cooling parts, they developed very small cracks that tend to let air into the system before any coolant leaks out.
