Seriously, I want to make sure I have everything I need before I have another oh crap moment.

I have:
3.73 ring and pinion
Trac Lok (the bearings on it are newish but gonna be tossed)
2 bottles Mobil1 75/90 gear oil
Ford friction modifier
pumpkin gasket
purple VSS gear
carrier bearings
inner/outer pinion bearings
axle bearings/seals
new pinion nut
pinion seal
crush sleeve
various shims
marking compound
dirve shaft
new ring bolts

Please tell me thats it.

And yes this is a large pic but thats so you can see if I am missing anything.
Thanks guys!

Some locktite, and maybe a new seal for the trans output if your changing the DS too.
The gasket for the cover ususally isn't ever used, rtv will work better.
Maybe an extra crush sleeve in case it's needed...

Locktite they will have at the shop. New output seal is a good idea though and I will buy one tomorrow.
IDK about the RTV though. My understanding is it needs to sit for 24 hours before putting fluid in. If thats true then he cant do it as he needs his lift. If it requires less time and I was just mis informed then please let me know. I will buy whatever kind is needed, just let me know.

Thank you for the help. :)

Oh yeah! How much of that FM should he use? The whole bottle?

have never had a problem with putting a diff cover on taking a short break [3-5 min] and then filling and driving. The best rtv made is called "The right STUFF" not kidding either. google it. It comes in an aerosol can and is easy to lay the perfect bead. It aint cheap either though.

I'll usually put the cover on and have lunch or dinner, then fill it up and go...
You'll need the whole bottle of FM (4oz./118mL)

Having some trouble locating the output shaft seal at the parts places. Ive tried "trans seal" and "shaft seal" but it only seems to show the front seal and some selector shaft seal.

X2 on "the right stuff" it's the best rtv by far! Made by permatex. I swear by it and so do many dealerships/mechanics.

This might be a dumb question but i dont see the cross shaft in your carrier housing. That is a track loc right. Your gonna need that for sure. And the special long bolt that holds the shaft in place.

Special bolt that holds the shaft in place?

And the pin will come out of the open carrier in the car to go in the trac lok.

Oh, yeah that bolt and pin will both be comming off the open diff in the car.
When I bought the trac lok everyone on here told me that I will just re use the old ones.

Your missing a real gear set.
3.73 is for pussies.

4.10 or deeper, go big or go home. :D
