Do you have to remove the door panel to take of the :q:q:q:qty looking wood trim or does it pop off like the dash parts do?

It only looks bad because yours is plastic. I am glad mine is real wood.

I don't care what its made out of wood doesn't belong in a modern car.

this is real wood an it looks :q:q:q:qing retarded. And trust me I worked at a restoration shop for 3 years I know what kind of cars should have wood in them.

IMO, a Lincoln LS without a wood package looks boring. I am wondering what you would do without having a wood package on your LS. Carbon fiber would look too ricey unless done correctly. This would include changing the entire look of the car. Like Rollin. His would look good with carbon fiber accents. You may work in a restoration shop but your taste is different from most. If not, why would every luxury car have an option for wood accents.

You do have to remove the door panel. Also you will have to do some grinding on some plastic to get them off. They are tabs that are mealted from the factory to hold it on. Just be very carefull pulling them of as they like to break very easy.

I actually like the wood trim although I know a lot don't. I think the doors, steering wheel, and shift knob tie together nicely and look classy.

I love my wood trim with the steering wheel and shifter. I think it looks a lot better than like that silver crap trim that I have seen. Glad mine came with it and if I bought another I would want the wood or I would be trying to replace it with wood asap. I think wood is way more classy than cheap looking silver plastic trim :yuck:.

You sir are correct. I got lucky and was able to remove the retaining clips without grinding. I was able to pull off the melted plastic on top of the pin.
