Interior Map/Cabin lights

Strange problem.. When I got in the car yesterday the interior lights remained on while I was driving. I physically checked all doors to make sure they were closed, and checked the dashboard as well. I've pressed all four buttons that control the lights and they are all in off position. Same thing happened today. Anyone have a clue what the problem is? Could one of the door sensors be broken?

I believe that the gen II is supposed to suppress the interior lights while in motion if any of the door switches fail.

Were you getting a door ajar message or light? If not, it's not a door switch.

Assuming that you made sure the dash light dimmer wasn't turned all the way up (which turns on the interior lights), maybe that switch is bad.

I am a dumbass..Forgot totally about the dimmer switch. I guess i must have hit it going in or out of the car, and clicked it all the way up.

Lmao! I did the same thing for about 10 minutes when I first bought the car . It is certainly a "wtf" moment.
