OK, so here's the deal. I got ticked at my 94 air ride, so I chucked it for coil overs, but then I saw how everyone seems to know so much about the air ride system, so now I have a problem with the wife's 95.
Front suspension goes to full height and "Check Air Ride" comes on. Rear is fine. Bags are pretty good, hold air for a month when parked.
Took it up to Go Fast's place and he put the Ford scanner on it, and it said Vent Valve, but I wasn't sure if that could be it because the rear still works fine. But, I pulled the pump and disassembled it, checked the vent valve for cleanliness (ie: rust, foreign object) and it's clean. Tested with 12v source, and it operates fine. Compressor runs fine too, albeit a little noisy. Compressor cylinder smooth and clean.
So here's the thing. This literally happened overnight. It was fine one day, not fine the next. I have a hard time believing that both ride height sensors took a dump simultaneously, and that they cough up the wrong code on a scan.
Anybody else heard of this? Help me out before I commit the unthinkable, and yank ANOTHER air ride system out.......
