intake insulation?

If I put an insulation around my intake tube will it help? What about a box for my filter? noticed tube and intake get pretty hot. I already have a flex pipe from my lower front grill to my intake to help push cold air up there

I think people wrap them up in thermo tape or something like that

how much does doing this help? i was thinking of getting the kit on lskconcepts... but i see you've done it differently. looks nicer. did it take a lot of work?

i made an aluminum box for mine, it helpssome i notice that the filter is a good bit cooler then open

Looks good. I would have used weather stripping rather than pipe wrap but it's all good..
