I have the jvc avh16bt I got it this xmas and installed it last week. I highly recommend it.

do you mean the JVC KW-AV61BT?

JVC's model numbers start with KW-NSX for mirrorlink radios, KW-AV if it is just an audio video unit, and KW-NT if it has nav built in...

Pioneer's AV only units start with AVH

Audiophile is just a term for "high quality audio" not always used properly lol.

speaking of the word "audiophile" not being used properly...

I wouldn't really consider the system an audiophile system but hey, its better than my 95 bronco.

also Audiophile is also the name of an optional Ford OEM sound system in many vehicles. so while a true audiophile would not be happy with an Audiophile system, they may choose to buy a car that has the Audiophile system...

I have no complaints on the output. The number one thing I look for in any car is the sound system. My 05 trailblazer had two l7 solobaric square 12s powered by a 3100w mono amp. My dvd head unit pushed 300w and powered my stock speakers nicely. I miss all that bass but the balance in my ls is perfect. You can hear the bass from a decent distance and inside it's flawless. So since my owners manual says audiophile but you say that's a term for good sound or someone that loves good sound what is the actual brand?

Also my 6 disc changer doesn't look like that. It doesn't say audiophile on it and the load port has a door that says 6 disc.

Yep thats what i thought too until i couldnt plug in my ipod then i went and screwed with everything since i had it apart

I'm very aware that your OEM radio doesn't look like that, its merely an example to show that "Audiophile" is a radio option and not someone using the term wrong

My 6 CD player in my 2010 Explorer will not eject. I've tried the "slip a credit card in" method with no luck.

When the weather breaks, since I use satellite radio mostly, I'm going to disconnect/reconnect the battery.

I've read that this sometimes works.

Things never change, I thought this was improved/resolved already. My 2002 Mountainer(explorer) got that CD issue way back since 2005. CD is old technology nowadays, bluetooth is in.

they always get improved, but the problem with changers is that there are a lot more moving parts in the same size place. they will always be more prone to jamming/breaking vs a normal CD player.
