IMRC cleaning

Nevermind just looked at your other post and it looks like you have a 95 Mark VIII. I don't know much about the Gen I's except that they are vaccum powered.

If the car is giving a code for the IMRC, then most of the time you will start with seafoam treatment or look for any loose vaccum pipes.

You can do a search for seafoam, and do that. Or, you can remove the intake manifold/imrc plates and clean them by hand. That's what I did with mine. I also replaced the upper and lower gaskets and installed new orings on the irmc plate shafts, since they were leaking vacuum.

Yes, I have a 95 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC. So all I have to do is disconnect the brake power booster vaccum tube and how much seafoam can I use. I thought all Mark VIII use the IMRC.

Which is a phenomenal amount of work.
Those IMRCs aren't made to be taken apart.
