Is this run downhill? I don't see any street ahead either on this video. He has 3.73's, did he change the speedo gear? No one knows. He has a tune and muffler delete. Maybe it was a flat ground run and why not upload the video again and try to get the correct time? 245/50/16 tires and I have 225/60/16 but I was going downhill..... There really are some fukksticks on youtube. If I do another video, it will be at a track and 2 videos will be made.

95 Mark VIII 0-60 - YouTube

I deleted my videos. Tired of arguing back and forth with two douche nozzles, especially when one of them speaks about my parents. Didn't like that comment considering I walked in my fathers room and found him passed away in his bed last year. I'll never claim another 6.? run again unless it's proven at a track.

D, was that up on jack stands? :p Seriously though, I had another video where I did spin for the first second .1 or .2 and then the car finally took off and I still hit 60 at 7 sec. I was also going up a slight slant / incline and with the heavy subs and box in the trunk with ten 8 packs of 12oz bottle of Mt. Dew.

Now, if spinning counts, then I can get 60 in no time but I don't feel like setting still for 1 second and maybe moving a foot or two before actually launching should really count for much. If I hadn't spent that time setting there spinning, I would have proved the 6 second stock video that I know the car will do, with the box in the back but no dews. I don't have any gears and exhaust or a tuned chip. Anyway, I guess all that matters is that I know. I'm not going to post another video without slip proof because I get pissed off too easily when someone says I'm going downhill. Now I don't have to worry about it.

The svtlincoln guy posts up that video up top but he has 3.73's, muffler delete, tuned chip and 245/50/16 tires. I don't see any street before his run and how do I know he has the correct speedo gear? I don't go accusing people on youtube of running downhill or anything like that because I don't know. I do know if my car will do 0-60 in the 6.? range as is, I would hate to see what it would do with some gears, exhaust and a chip with a damn good tune on it.

I would have to show video proof of the correct speedo gear being installed too or that would also be fake. See, this is why I don't mod lol. I get mad too easy and once I got started, I wouldn't stop and like I have said before. Unless you go to the track quite a bit and win lump sums of money, then why have all of that stuff? Around here, it wouldn't do you any good except get you a ticket. I would however like to see svtlincoln's Mark. I bet it's an absolute pile on the outside and inside. He claims to have been modding and drag racing his Mark for years but has chopped off mufflers.... Go get some real exhaust because a simple muffler delete ain't cuttin it for a "drag racer"

All in all, I don't think his speedo gear has been changed and his tire size is getting him that 60 mph quicker than he's showing or he's also going downhill.

the speedo gear appears to be accurate. the shift speeds appeared similar to my 4.10s. i'd go back and check, but he pulled the video.
nolimit, a little weight in the trunk isn't so bad cuz marks can spin bad with that open rear.
and the 245s do change things as well, 1 they throw the speedo off by about 2-3 mph. and give you a bit more final drive, cuz they're shorter.
but regardless, even if your mountain dew filled stock m8 was only 7, and his 3.73 geared, muffler deleted, tuned, c&l maf, short tired car could only be a bit faster, i would be ashamed to be that guy.

btw, nice dew stash! i need to restock my mini fridge.

It does look like he pulled off the 6.? sec run but seeing how I was accused of doing a downhill run, simply for not showing the road ahead of me first, it seems like he would have shown the road ahead of him. Could he be going downhill on his run? I'm not going to say he is but I don't see the road ahead.

As for the weight, I figured since a lot of people are looking for weight reduction, it might help me out by not having all of that setting back there. That box with subs weighed in at 188 pounds + 12 liquid oz. times 80= another 44.18 liquid pounds and then the two amps and idk what they weigh but if I had to guess, both weigh out at around 20+ each so lets say there is another 40 pounds. That 7 second run was with about 270 or so pounds and the spare is in the tub too.

It might be helping me out by having just the subs & box to get more hook, I have no clue. I need to get under there and get the j-mod done. I'm not doing gears or a chip because it would only see the strip once. Be kinda useless for me.

Since you're doing downhill runs, the added weight makes you faster
