So I changed my sparkplugs, the coils are in working order however the sleeves are worn and not snaping onto the spark plugs very well, everywhere i have looked they only sell the entire unit. Does any one know where i can find the sleeves? The wrecking yards here dont have any gen 2 marks.

Yeah sux like that... most places just sell the whole coil... you can get them though... from Maxx at Five Star... he's got a banner on the side ----->
he'll hook you up... they're like a little under 10 a piece if I remember correctly... but he's a good source of a lot of parts for our rides

I bought a set of Motorcraft OEM COP's from Max for $29.95 each. I had to jump on a set of eigtht. Well worth it to change everything. You don't want a plug to detinate like what happened to me.

Go with Max. Best to stick with OEM's ;).

My coils are fine though and all I need is the rubber sleeves, My car is not misfiring, and I only need two as a matter of fact so Spending 30 bucks a pop for a whole set doesn't make any sense at this point.

www.rpmoutlet.com The boots at RPM are a better silicone mix and the connectors are solid steel connects rather then the springs.

I like the boots and connectors I got but remember when you pay the 80 bucks or what ever you don't get new coils with that. OEM coils are supposedly the best but they have all sorts of coils out there. Accel are supposedly crap from what I hear and Motoblue are decent coils. Accel and MotoBlue are both at RPM Outlet. If you got the money I would get a set of the OEM coils and strip the boots and connectors and use the ones from RPM outlet.

O'Reilly's Auto Parts sells the boots for a little under $4 each. I don't know if you have one near you, but you could probably get them from their website if you had to. That makes getting a whole set for a little less than $35.
Not a bad deal. Check it out.
