Idle hunting on deacceleration?

Well my problem came back a day after I posted. So having the TCC solenoid in my possession, I went ahead and replace it and it did not resolve my problem. I am starting to think it might be the PCM or (a far fetched theory) my stall converter. I noticed that when I tap my breaks going into a completed stop, my idle is stuck at 1k, but eventually it will drop. Also I can hear the engine rev while it drops down to the normal 500rpms. I am going to try and get my PCM reprogrammed soon. I will keep you all posted, but any suggestions from you guys are definitely appreciated. Thanks!!!

I brought the car to the dealer to have my PCM reprogrammed, but they do not have the connector for ODBI cars? I then said, what if someone other than me has to get their ODBI car reprogrammed? They pretty much basically said that you are SOL. The shop foreman then told me that if you really need to get the computer re flashed, to take it to a speed shop and have them take care of it. Since I was actually going to get a dyno tune ANYWAY, I set up my appointment at sniper tuning on Dec 13th. Hopefully everything goes well and my problem is resolved. :)

I am more than convinced the problem lies with the SCT software. I have 2 '98 Mark VIIIs and neither one did that until the SCT tune. If I pull the tune, the hunting stops.

My SCT X-Cal2 has a Dennis tune.

Anybody else have the same tune from Dennis with the hunting issue? I'm leaning toward it being an SCT issue with the torque converter lockout unless more Dennis guys show up and report the same.
