idle air sensor

I personally use a very long bendable / flexible extension 1/4" and come in from behind everything to get right at the nut and bolt but that's after I get it broke loose with a normal short wrench. Removing the hood helps in more ways than one and it's a near must to remove the cowl, wiper blade and all that stuff. After that, you'll have room to move around and see what you're doing. If you have help with the hood, please get it off your back. You'll be glad you did but it can be done without removing it. I have done it both ways.
