my mark is the best car ive ever owned. I just bought a 99 contour se v6 for 1500 with 71k on it. And its a piece. I beat on my mark EVERYDAY and all I get is a leaky oil pan. Or natural air suspension wear. But the contour's power steering pump went the same time the axle seal did. I wish I could get a gen2 daily with stock gears and small mpg mods.

didnt you hate your mark like a month ago and want to sell it

Wow samething popped in my head when I read this post, then I scrolled down lmao.

Yeah when you drive other cars you realize the mark is a pretty good piece.

I used to hate it... When I had no money. Come to realize this car is a dime piece. Oh and btw picked up some 03 cobra wheels and tires today.

So it's not your time of month right now.... in a little while you will hate it again.

I personally have yet to find another car in my price range that compares (I went to a Lambo/Bentley/Rolls/Bugatti dealership today so my perspective on things is a little altered right now).

Lol... here we go!

Dude, honestly I havent seen one useful post out of you on any of my threads. Some of you are worse than women... Just keep diggin up the past. Did'nt we put that all to rest. Just shows maturity level on your part bud. No hard feelings here lol

I don't have any hard feelings at all.... sounds like you are the one with the hard feelings.... I'm also not the one that left after getting all pissy, and I'm not getting pissy now.

Chill out dude.....

If you read this thread, I think you'll quickly see how useful Kustomizing Kid really is, and what he contributes to the community on a regular basis.

Compare that your monthly love hate relationship with your mark 8

Dont step on Brandons nuts too hard, he really is a good kid.. with good intentions and VERY VERY helpful to "those in need".

Becareful which bridges you burn, since your contemplating purchasing a second gen..

Brandon is well known for hoarding hard to find parts and releasing them to "people in need" later down the road.

"ends KustomizingKid commercial"

Brandon, please send 50.00 to the normal paypal account please.
(lol)

you should get a second gen, they are quite a different car than the first gen

I used to be a first gen fanatic, didn't really "care" for the second gens.

Also with the obd2 second gen you can really get decent economy with a good solid tune.. I'm quite pleased with mine.

Granted.. it literally took someone stealing my first gen.. before I considered getting a second gen.

GET ONE.. They rock

How can a car that never gets driven break down?

What about your tbird stump puller?

I drove the MarkVIII daily for a few months after getting it before parking it for winter after the comp frooze. Then drove it daily the next season straight though till the next winter and the comp frooze again. Lots of little crap breaking, always had to fix something.

The T-Bird served me well. I believe it has about 270k on it. Nothing original though but never really gave me many problems when I drove it...and I beat it pretty bad.

Must be getting soft.. LOL...

I love my second gen... but I'm lusting after a first gen now....

See what happens as you mature you get smarter...

I've realized how great of cars these are since Ive been working on such a variety of ford products being at a lincoln dealership. I'm selling my contour and currently looking for a 98 lsc preferably. I LOVE obd2 cars in general. I'll most likely do a hub swap with gt pbr calipers so that i can run 15's or 16's.

See, You gotta beat on the car. I drive my contour like an old lady but beat the piss out of my mark for the 30k ive had it. Of course I stuck with air suspension but it was never a problem besides costing money.
