Guys;

Just picked up a mint '02 LS V8 Sport with only 39k on it.

Clock spring seems to be on it's way out. The LH steering controls are inop, including the cruise. Horn & Volume controls still work, and the SRS light is NOT on. Assuming I need a clock spring, yes?

Anybody have a Part Number I can search online for a good price?

Shop is going through the car this week........needs brakes all the way around, fluids & filters changed. Hoping we don't find a bunch more stuff wrong with it;)

Anything that can be done to PREVENT the coil pack failures?? The transmission spring failures?? Or just cross our fingers and go? :)

clock spring part number may be 14A664


to prevent coil pack failures make sure you have a good vcg seal to not let water in and not let oil out
