The chrome is all bubbled up and I want to replace it I was going to switch it with the one on my 2000 but it is black and the one on my 2004 is gray and it is a one piece.

Any one have one to sell or know where I can get a good deal on one?

What do you mean by chrome grille? LSE with chrome waterfall? All chrome hybrid?

Got ya. I think I saw one on ebay for 89.00 this week. That's pretty darn good.

It looks black and mine is gray

Yeah that's an 00-02 grille. I hated how the stock grille looks gray, it might have just been faded, but painting it black looks a lot, a lot better.

hey guys im gonna be getting some sheet metal to do my grille kinda looks like the mclaren with the little holes

now I dont wanna take out anything from the grille and it looks like it would fit right over it and be flush just wondering but would be the best thing to use to attach it?

You could use a gen2 grille's surround and epoxy it to the back of it.

I kinda wanted to just use my grille thats already leave the black plastic lines on there and just place it right over it will that work

word so what should do if im gonna use my stock grille its an 01

cut out all the black plastic
or what?

btw thanks

^ Maybe it'd be a good idea to just spring for the LSE grille. The grille is the most important/iconic part of the LS in my opinion and really should be done right.

I probably will if I mess up but im a project guy and this sheet metal is gonna cost me like 40 bucks unless I can get it cheaper at lowes

dude at this welding shop has no love and wont go any lower and the other place I went dude wants 20 a square foot and 2 isnt enough and three is too much but 60$ through that metal shop

but if I mess up I will probaly shell out the money and do what you guy suggest but if you have any opinions on how I could do this with the grille I have and it still look nice

I would love to hear them
