my sisters boyfriend got a 06 mustang V6. its gold a k&n cold air intake, pypes exhaust(not full- i think its an axle back). i know those V6's come stock with 210 hp, he thinks he's making 250 horses, his car's not even tuned. he maybe got 3-5 hp from the cai, and 10 from the exhaust, no where near 250 right? he thinks he would smoke the mark. haha!
 
He's gonna run a low 15/high 14 1/4 mile in a stock v6 unless he has a tune or something. You may be able to hold up...lol
 
If my sisters boyfriend owned a V6 mustang Id tell him to get lost and never come back.

V6 mustangs are only ok with a woman behind it, and even that is a very iffy subject.
 
i hate the idea of a V6 mustang. i think i'd smoke him. he's like your car is heavier, i was like i have close to 300 hp your not even at 230..
 
I agree with Dave. V6 mustangs are for girls. Show him what a man...er...boys car can do. lol
 
you dont even drive yet, so why worry?

trust me, im 18 and ive raced most people at my HS and at the local car meets. no matter if you win or lose there going to talk trash about your car. so do your self a favor and keep you damn license. ive almost lost mine, trust me its alot of money and time wasted.

i hear ya, i just like talking smack even though i don't drive. every time he says my cars slow i just say im almost at 300 hp.. he gets quiet haha. like i said with the other kid, only racing at a 1/4 drag strip.. i was with my dad once a few months ago coming home from stop and shop, in the parking lot i heard a loud ass car, saw it was either a 2010 or 2011 dodge challenger with the hemi.. it kept misfiring though. but me being a teen and loving fast cars, i said dad can you race him? he said he'd smoke us and besides we have a trunk full of groceries(probably added 100 pounds i'd say).. anyways we turn onto a straight away and my dad punches it, we get to a stop light and he's next to us. traction control is turned off and boom were off, i was surprised at the outcome, smoked that challenger.. you could tell he was trying to keep up but he couldn't. and my dad goes and you want to make it faster. lmao. good times
 
V6 Stangs only for girls? You guys are lame. The 2011+ V6 has over 300 hp and will smoke a modded Mark. I would gladly take a new V6 Stang.


That being said your friends 06 with said mods and no tune is lucky to have 8 more HP. Car cant take advantage of any of that stuff without telling the computer about them.
 
no where, i don't plan on racing in the street, track only. no way im going to risk hurting anyone.

^^^ i'm jumping in the boat with bill. i would gladly take a new v-6 stang they would blow the doors off almost every mark on this site with ease, and still get over 20 mpg doing it lol.
 
oh yeah for sure i'd love to get a 2011 v6 stang, they are fast as helll.. i saw one take off from a red light that turned green and wow i was amazed. ive only seen them on youtube but to see it in person tearin it up was sick. and without a doubt the new v6 stang would smoke most of our cars lol. i want a stick shift mustang, preferably a GT, but where i live theres too much traffic, would be a huge PIA to keep shifting every five seconds.
