Thanks Guys...little story behind the name...

her Moms name is Omega...which means the end

In Greek Genesis means the begining, my name is Joshua Franklin, so by changing it to Jenesis, she now has my initials...:D

I thought Alpha was the beginning and that Genesis ment creation or origin.. or something like that.

EDIT: NM, I see it means beginning as well.

It depends where you look, some things will tell you different things..

we got it from here;

The boy's name Genesis \

ge-ne-

sis\, also used as girl's name Genesis, is of Greek origin, and its meaning is "origin, beginning". Biblical: the first book in the Old Testament, and tells of the story of the creation of the world.

Genesis has 4 variant forms: Gennesis, Ginesis, Jenesis and Jennesis.

The girl's name Omega \o-me-

ga\ is pronounced oh-MAY-gah. It is of Greek origin, and its meaning is "the end". The last letter in the Greek alphabet. Suitable for the youngest child.

Baby names that sound like Omega are Amica, Amika and Jameka. Other similar baby names are Olga, Oma, Omyra and Omeira.

Its good that shes got a luxorious automobile to cruise around in :D
But congrats on the birth, and her being healthy, and most of all good luck with all that baby stuff LOL

Wow, just saw this thread.

Congratulations, dude! My second one is due around mid July. Another boy for me :D
