I was at a mall a few weeks back. I parked close because I was in a hurry. When I got back in my car a lady pulled in next to me. I was just getting ready to start it up to leave. The lady opens her door so hard that my car moved from the impact. I didn't just feel the knock. It was like someone pushed on the side of the car to rock it. She didn't even bother looking to see if she made a dent. She just shut her door and walked away like nothing happened. I was so stunned I just sat there with my mouth open. WTF? Long story short, minor dent but no paint damage. Just another one to add to the collection on the passenger side of my car where my kids bikes are slowly destroying it.
You didn't say anything? I would've at least made a big deal out of it, and threatened to call the cops and fill out an accident report. Probably coulda got an easy hundred bucks out of her.

Damn, sucks to hear about what happened! I had someone backup into the drivers corner of mine 2 days after gettin it and cracked the bumper so I know how you feel.
on another note, it's good to see someone else from this area! Can I ask where you took it to get a quote? I know of a real good body shop in temperance thats done alot of work for me and know the guys real good.

yeah two days ago, i drove my mom to sobes right at opening time, first one there. she was going like major monthly grocery shopping so i just sat in the car. i dropped her off at teh front of the door and told her to call me when she is done and i will pull up. i park at the very last parking spot at the end of the parking lot and what do you know i fiddle with my stereo for a bit i look up and there is someone beside me on bothsides and in front of me. we were the only 4 people there... like WTF

she would have come out of the store and her drivers door would have been missing, hell maybe even her drivers seat.

These postings are funny! Just the other day i parked my car perfectly on a Navy base where there wasn't anybody in the parking lot then this douche in a :q:q:qMW pulls in the parking slot next to me. I'm looking like "WTF" there isn't anybody here why would you park next to me? So luckily i wasn't there long on that 105 degree day and came out 30 mins later to find fresh coffee poured all over the back of my car. If i see him this week i'll probably lose some rank because i'm gonna destroy him...i remember faces pretty well (that good military training).

66coupe - I'm probably gonna get it done by Whitman Ford Body Shop. I've known the manager there for years, and have had them spray another car for me about 17 years ago - it came out flawless.
Bernie Gies is the manager there, and he's a no-nonsense guy that will take care of you.

I have never seen another man swing open their doors and ding another car. But I have seen plenty of big ass women, kicking their doors out or using their ass to swing the doors wider and ding the car next to them. I've paid the ding man several hundred dollar to remove door dings in my LS. Had one women back her car into my Olds 442, putting a nasty dent in the side, then she took off. I tracked her down like the dog she is, only to find her going bankrupt, she told me to stand in line with the rest of her creditors.

The WEEK after I got nearly everything from the hood and trunk down repainted, I park in a spot by my house with 5 feet in front, and at least 4 feet in back. This asshat in a nissan minivan of certain oriental origin scrapes the hell out of my corner while backing into the spot. God dammit. insurance just paid 7 grand for a perfect paint job. And now I have to drive around with a disgusting scrape.
