I ordered a pair of 7 inch headrest screens and they came in Friday morning. So guess what I did Friday after work! Took me about 4 hours from start to finish. I had a little fab work to do to make them work. Also I had to take my HU out to wire and connect the RCA's.I took some pics along the install didnt bother with pics of the HU removal and reinstall didn't figure that to be needed. I think they look great and my kids love them. What do you all think?

Cool stuff.

Ive never been a fan of headrest screens.....seems really gaudy and draws a lot of unwanted attention. But i love double din's. Need to get a new one to replace the factory THX unit....its way too basic for my taste.

Looks like a clean install.

Id do screens in a suv to keep my kids entertained if i had any lol.

very clean. if small children in the back seat need entertainment, this is an excellent way to do it.

Looks good...do those covers for the back of the seats come off easy? Do they just pop out?

Eventually they just fall off.

You havent had them come off yet??

They look good. I am doing the same install in the near future.

Lol no...they must be stuck on real good cuz I have kids & they always kick the crap out of them when they start whining.

Thanks I kept putting it and then one day I decided to order them and here they are. I was dreading it thinking the install would be rough, but in reality it wasn't that bad and was fairly strait forward!

with the IR headphones I forget my kids are even back there. My ken wood allows me to move the DVD signal and sound to the headrest screens while i have normal music or nav operation up front it awesome i like it allot.I Wish i would of done it sooner.

If you don't mind me asking. What brand? And how much? They look good.

They are made by Rockville. I got them from amazon.com for 132.95 for the pair shipped. It was between what I got and some T-View screens. I got the rockville because the grey looked like a lighter shade and would match better and I was right it is real close. Alot of them on amazon looked like a darker grey.

looks good. Had some very similar before my LS was broken into and they were stolen. (in my driveway no less..with dark tinted windows..and i never really ever rode with windows down or actually used the screens). Anyways, couple of notes.

If youthink the stock headrests provide little or no headrest support when driving, the aftermarkets are even worse. And some of them have a hard time staying in a up position and always slide down to the seat. And if they dont match up, no worries. I actually had tan headrests for my graphite interior. A can of bulldog adhesion promoter and a can of light graphite SEM interior dye/paint took care of that pretty easily. If you do your prep well it will never flake/peel.

Thanks for the advice but Actually in person unless you point it out to someone they can't tell if it's a different shade than stock. It is almost perfect!
