What a couple fun filled days.

Wednesday night I went to home depot, and as I headed in, I can hear a hiss sound. My passenger side rear tire was puking air out of the valve stem. This is the fourth time I have had a valve stem issue...second time on that wheel. I seriously think these pot hole filled streets in this city have something to do with it, that and I doubt the stems were replaced on the rears when I bought new tires 2 months ago.

Then on Thursday I got stuck working a long day, then got pulled over heading home. I think the cop was part ninja! He was going the opposite way and talking on his cell. When I saw him cross the grass median I knew I was boned. Got me for 84 in a 65. Luckily he was really cool. Gave me a 1-4mph over ticket which is $70 and no points. Funny part was when he asked me what the hell the car was. Told him, and he looked it up and down with an approving nod.

Finally got home, and headed back out to send a part to JeffinTampa. Threw it in the trunk, and went to get in. *feels around in pockets* Huh, where are my keys? Yup lockd them in the trunk. No spare, and couldn't remember the damn code (yeah yeah, I know). So with some help from Mike and a couple hours later, I got into the car.

So as a PSA: Have your door code saved in your phone, or in your wallet! I was off the whole time by one number, which wasn't bad considering I haven't used the code in months.

my car came w/ 2 stickers with the code on them..1 on the decklid and 1 on the drivers side door jam. moved them..1 in my car in a secret area and 1 in my wallet..I do however use mine quite often so the code is etched in my head.

There's still a little sticker on my decklid, but it's not the same code anymore, so I should probably take it off. When my driver's door was backed into a couple years ago, they replaced the door and didn't switch out the keyless entry module, so when I got the car back, my key fob didn't work and my code didn't work, so I had to take off the door panel and find the code on the side of the module to figure it out. What a pain...

coulda just made a new one..prob easier then taking off the door panel.
