:D I just ordered my front hubs and rotors along with my cobra calipers and mounting brackets. Im having trouble finding 99+ cobra rear hubs for a decent price. Im leaving the stock brakes in the rear just to leave less work for me and to keep costs down a little. Just buying the fronts killed me. Im most likely going to buy stock rear rotors and take them to a machine shop and have the center bore of the rotor reemed to accomodate the larger center diameter of the cobra hubs. Then I need them to drill the 5 extra holes in the stock mark rotor to mate with the 5x4.5 cobra hub. pics will come soon along with the process so we can clear up some things for those who are pondering this swap..

good luck on the rears, hope you have the brackets already. Max at 5 star got mine at a good price and quick.

Just have your rear hubs re drilled for the SN-95 pattern.

Thats what I was thinking also. Because I am not finding sh1t for rear hubs under 170 each. Then all I need to do is have the sn95 pattern machined into my stock rotors. Im a little weary of tearing into the stock hubs though. Do you think the hubs will become weaker with the extra holes? I could probably fill them in if need be. Ive heard also, that the mustang's wheel studs are bigger in comparison to ours. I dont want to be using two different lug nuts front to rear.

Your gonna have to put new studs in it anyway, so just get the correct versions.........;)

Don't worry about strength issues. You'll be fine.

So I should have the hubs redrilled? What do you mean correct versions? sorry im lost. lol

Yes, It'll be Cheaper by far.

and I meant just get the correct studs for the rear since you will need new ones after the redrill anyway.

Do a search for some of my recent threads. Look for the 31 spline conversion thread and go to the bottom of that. there is a link to a guy that does the machining for the hub re drill.

I don't recall the price ($150/pair iirc??), but fast Ed on the TCCoA forums was selling rear hubs for a good price, or do as 94m5 said :)

Ok, So my rotors and front hubs came in today and I picked up some 02 bullits with good tires for 80 bucks.... Now I just need pads and spindle nuts and I can do the front swap. Im waiting on the guy who's doing the hub re-drill for the rear to email me back. Ill post some pics as soon as I can.

The 80 dollar bullits in amazing shape. My 13" rotors and brand new sn95 front hubs are boxed up and I chose not to have flashy looking calipers behind the wheels. I just painted the the letters white and called it a day.

Thats awesome man,

Whered you get the bullitts?

Some rich kid. I beleive it's about 10 or 15 miles away from jeremi's.. Im just waiting on the guy who does the rear hubs to email me back now. Im guessing hes a busy guy though. Im doing the fronts this weekend and parking it in my back yard till the rears are ready.

Found the rear hubs for $131 each. I wanna eventually convert to SN-95 but dont have the money to buy all the brakes. Was wondering if just drilling out the rotors to the SN-95 pattern would work or would i still have to get different brackets.

Yeah theres a guy who does hub re-drills to our bolt pattern. He also drills the stock rear rotors to the sn95 bolt pattern. Im sending my hubs out tommorrow and I already have the fronts on. I honestly can say that the front brake/hub swap was one of the easiest things I have done to my car. The only part that required any modification was the hyrdualic line on the pass. side where it bolts to the caliper had to be ground down to clear a part of the cast on the caliper. Cut my hand with the angle grinder but it was worth it.:D Stops pretty good... I just need stainless lines now.
