I was repairing the inside of the door panel where the previous owner had cracked it in several places. I was using Bondo fibreglass. I had the door panel sticking out of the trunk and some of the resin dripped thru onto the painted bumper. I tried to wipe it off but that made a bigger but thinner mess. Acetone is to be used to cleanup, but I'm worried it may remove the paint as well? Does anyone know what to use to get the now dried thin layer of fibreglass resin off without damaging the bumpers paint underneath?
