How to install a baby seat?

I'm trying to get our baby seat installed and I can't figure it out. :confused:
There is the anchor on top but I can't find the 2 anchors on the bottom to hook into.
Can anyone help me?

Serioulsy though, (lolol), the seat may have a base that it goes in, is it new? And if you can post a pic of the bottom, back, front and underside that would be of great help, oh and for what size\age child is it for?

If all else fails, I am sure you know the name, google on it and look to see if they have a wed site that provides step by step install instructions. If that is a no go, then take a drive down to your local police station, they are always giving install demos and checks on ones already installed at the grocery parking lot here.

It's new. I understand how to install it I just can't find the tie downs in our LS's. Went to the cop shop and they are never there when I'm available. So I thought I would ask the LS pro's.

(if you were next door you could watch lol)

I dont know what year LS you have, but mine has little stickers on the rear seat where the latches are. There are four of them, just run your finger thru the seam between upper and lower seats and you'll find them.
 
I've got a 2000 LS. The best I can tell there are the 3 anchors on top and zero on the bottom. I think I'm just suppose to pull the seatbelt all the way out to put it in automatic lock mode and then get it as tight as possible to secure the bottom.

Am I wrong peoples?
 
As helpful as the seat memory was, the lack of child seat tether anchors was truly annoying. Now, before you all start writing e-mail blasting Mr. Brauer for not being able to locate the anchor points behind the rear seat, realize that he knows all about them. Furthermore, he used them for his three-year-old son's car seat. But his 11-month-old daughter has to ride in a reverse-facing baby seat, and for that you need an anchor point in either the rear-passenger foot well area or under the rear seat bottom cushion. Our 2000 LS has neither. Lincoln dealers can undoubtedly install this type of anchor point for customers who want it, but if you happen to discover this problem on a late Sunday afternoon, that solution isn't really an option. If you're considering an LS purchase and you've got newborn kiddies, you might want to check with the dealer on what options you have for securing a reverse-facing seat.

You want to use one of the anchors at the top. Most seats will work better if they are directly behind either the passenger or driver's seats. The anchors are located on the rear shelf. You will use one of those as well as using the seatbelt through the back of the car seat. Just pull everything down tight. Also you might want to roll up a towel and put it between the seat and the strap that goes to the anchor to help prevent damage to the seat.
 
When I had my niece's car seat in the LS, it only had one strap for anchoring, which hooked to the top anchor. (My '04, as noted above, has all sorts of tether points, labeled with stickers.) For the lower end, pull the seat belt all the way out--this will put it into a "child seat mode" and it will then only retract, so you can cinch down the belt to hold the seat tightly. It will have to be fully retracted before it can then be pulled out again (this is true of all of the belts except for the driver's belt--and it's true of most FoMoCo products of the last several years).
 
the 2000 ls`s dont have the two stickers at the bottom which means there are no hookups. so you will just have to use the one at the top in the deck lid and run the seatbelt through the bottom.
