Finally figured out how to make a gen II intake look like the rest of the car, I took and sandblasted a spare one and then attacked it with a wire wheel. Now it is off to the powdercoaters for a clearcoat and should look like the factory should have produced it. Will post pictures with the finished product soon, let me know what you think.

That's gonna look pretty nice.

FWIW, I don't think I've seen pictures of your car before.

Got any to share?

Don't worry, I'll give it back in 20 years or so. It looks great

That looks sooooooooo much nicer..$50.00 Is that your price or our LVC group price ??:shifty:

Nice! Looks really good man. I plan on taking mine off one weekend super soon and cleaning it really nice and smoothing it out to a polish. like my valve covers, pulleys, cop covers, center pumpkin, and hood. Yes....the hood. :-/ That was a painful 34 hours and counting.

I played a tad bit with a wire wheel on the intake the other day.

Is yours just a clear coating or is it silver?

intake

It's a silver aluminum powdercoat with clear powdercoat over it. Thanx Bruce
