How Rare?

Was curious if someone who has tons of Mark VIII facts could tell me how rare it is to find an LSC with out the sun/moon roof.

I'm considering moving into a Gen2 97 white lsc because it has no sun roof. not sure i wanna pay 4k for it tho.

Other then Jamies I don't think ive seen any other LSC with out one.

Id really like to get a 98 over a 97 so im wondering what the odds are of finding another one thats actually for sale.

Not that rare at all. I currently have a bob 98 lsc with no sunroof. I've also owned at least 3 black 96 lsc's that had no sunroof.

Don't know what the exact #'s are but I'd say they are not rare at all. In fact my father owned a CE with no sunroof. There are CE's with & w/o sunroofs as well so I'd say maybe 60%/40% LSC's were produced w or w/o the the sunroofs.

I have a '97 bob LSC with moonroof that was very hard to find and a '98 bot LSC without. I find moonroofs to be much harder to find in Cali.

thanks for the input. ill keep looking but ive yet to find one around here and by around here with in 500 miles for sale. i just was not sure how uncommon the lsc was with out a moonroof option.
