I am curious about how much you would give for this car? 185,000mi immaculate interior and exterior.. and motor compartment.. the car has been well taken care of... needs nothing. Has many extras and total investment is about 17000 dollars, but theres no way the car is worth that... Im just curious i have pondered on selling the car... so if i get any really good offers through this i might accept, but i dont know b.c i dont know wat is worth.

for pics look in my gallery..

I don't think you'd get near half of what you put into it. The market for modified cars is small..

Those are some high miles, It's really hard to say what you would get, I know it wouldn't be anywhere near 17k though. I would put it on ebay and set a high reserve just to see what it would bring. then you could have a ball park figure. That paint job is not for everyone so the right person will have to see it.

You could potentially get 5-6K from the right buyer. The paint is hideous, and all the body mod stuff will decrease the appeal to the general market. Finding a buyer for a heavily modified car is difficult, but finding a buyer for a heavily modified Mark VIII is damn near impossible IMHO.

Paul.

I doubt you would get what you would want for it. Miles although to me they mean nothing, will bring down the value.

You put some work into it but you are not going to get your work work out of it.

Paint Job would attract more younger buyers but then you are looking at less cash.

I'm doubting you'll get much over $3500, not to be discrediting your efforts or personal value. eBay is your best bet or put it on autotrader see what happens.

WOW. Sad. While the paint isn't for most its hard to put a value on it. Miles are a factor, but condition and quality is everything. Don't let what you get from this thread bother you.

I have to see a car in person before I start to guess at value. Up close is where it counts to me. I've gone to look at cars for what they look like from pics and descriptions and have found myself laughing when I saw them up close in person. Based on that, again don't go by what this thread gives you.

I think it's worth a bit more than $3,500

I'm not saying that's not worth more. It's worth a lot more but he asked how much would you give. I'm taking it as he's asking us if he'd get what he thinks it's worth to him. But I don't think he'd get it. But then again there were some idiots on eBay who bid a lot for that butt ugly one with all the Lincoln emblems all over it.

It's like Mike's 95. He's go over $20K into it and it's a beautiful car with a lot more features and a lot lower miles.

I would hope he'd get over $6K for it but people would shy from the miles. I have over 210k miles on my 93 and I know it will last another 100K if takne care of. But many would only buy it for a parts car.

So please don't get me wrong ... and somewhere there is a good buyer for his car who would give him a fair price.

My hat's off for his efforts and time in this car.
