Add the current inflation rate (3%) to last year's rate (8.38%) and you have an inflation rate of 11.38% since the current rate is on top of last year's rate.

The prime interest rate was 3.50% in 2022. It is currently 8.25% and quite possibly will go higher, affecting all types of credit card payments, car loans and many other types of transactions involving credit.

The 11.38% is the cumulative rise in inflation since 2022. Maybe the Limosine Liberals on the left don't agree but the average working class family realizes it at the grocery store and when paying bills.

Yeah, Biden does not directly control interest rates, but his economic policies sure do. His reckless spending like pushing thru the Inflation Reduction Act ( what a misnomer that is) keeps shoveling more money into the overheated economy, causing inflation. The FED has to try to cool inflation by raising the Prime Rate- thereby causing all interest rates to rise.

As per the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, real wage growth was, in fact, at -1.69% for 2022. Maybe it will be better this year. For the sake of the working class folks I sure hope so. Don't gloss over last year's pain.

It wasn't a "maybe" better, those are the hourly-wage numbers from June 2022 to June 2023.

Gavin Newsom will be running in 2028, I think we already discussed this. He will very likely be your president. I suspect Trump will be running again n 2028, maybe behind bars, but he loves fleecing Trumpers out of their money and they love giving it to him.
 
Well... It seems Hunter isn't out of the woods yet on his drug/firearms charges.

Looks like the judge didn't like the deal both attorneys worked out... so Hunter isn't going to get off that easy.

Again... If this had been an average citizen... they would be in jail for years... and would have been majorly fined... along with other consequences.

It's nice to see that (true) justice will be served, and Hunter will learn the hard way that he is NOT above the law.:cool:

If I did what Trump did, I'd have gone to prison in 2021 for decades and decades. Not head of the GOP and current front-runner for the GOP presidential nomination. Alas, this is the world we live in.

As for Hunter Biden, I still couldn't care less about him. If he's guilty, may he receive a just punishment.

Just don't cry "but children are off limits!" if/when Trump's crime family children and son-in-law get brought up on charges with their involvement in trying to overturn the 2020 election :)
