It helps you learn the metric system because of grams. 8grams in quarter, 16grams in a half, 32 grams in an ounce, 256grams is a half pound, 512grams in a pound so on a so forth... had to throw that in:D

noawdays they've blended the two.

OZ and such..and down the the "gram" if your buying really good "non imported" stuff.

3.5 ( rounded ) is a 8th ( 3.5425 to the T ). How does two of those equal 8 grams?

hahah, your getting 28g ounces... typically thats all you can get up north, the further south you go the larger an O is.. a TRUE O is 32g. 4g 8ths, 8g quarter, 16g halfs so on and so forth.

hmm, Idk what else to tell you. Thats just how it is.. maybe marijuana is measured as a "precious material"??

1 troy ounce = 31.1034768 grams.

lol thats the only reasoning I can find behind it being 32 down here.
