Is there a way to cross check parts compatibility between Lincoln and Jaguar for my 2000 LS V8?

I sent a message to a Jaguar dealer looking for confirmation whether or not the transmission to shifter linkage cable is the same part, but with different numbers. They told me that they cannot check this request.

The Lincoln cable is: XW4Z-7E395-AB while the Jaguar cable is: XR833366

Is this the same part?

Additionally, I would like to know if the valve stem seals are interchangeable between 2000 model year V8s and what timing chain associated parts are interchangeable such as tensioners, guides, seals, ext.

I don’t see a general thread that lists shared parts between the two cars so I’m unsure as to how best to determine which parts are the same, but with different part numbers. With the understanding that many parts are shared, I would like the option of buying the Jaguar packaged part in situations where the Lincoln twin is discontinued.

Any ideas or pointers? Thank you!

You must be kidding?
Why would a Jaguar dealer have any interest or knowledge of a 25+ year old American made Lincoln? Heck even Ford does not have any interest and it's their car!

Jaguar and Ford did their best to keep them desperate. You will never find a list unless someone posts it.

Now you could start such a list if your interested?
