Homelink Garage opener

Does anyone know how to program the homelink garage door opener on a 98? I've looked all over and can't find any info. This car was missing the owners manual. Thanks

I have a Homelink visor in my '97 but its not compatible with my garage door opener. I tried several times to program it with no luck.
