Thx agin for any help!!!

:W to :V the guy to ask is 94m5 he should be online tommorrow or send him a PM and he will help you !!!!!

100 watt bulbs will get hot. They may cause further damage to your housings. I'd look for an alternative.

Hey FRO
The 93-96 use the same style headlights. The HID is $764.57 and LVC cost is $550.49 EACH side. You will have to find a place to mount the ballasts. You can also buy New 93-95 reg headlights for $257.00 and your cost $192.75 each. I sell and keep plenty of each in stock. A new reg headlight will seem very bright compared with what you now have!

I just installed new non-hid housings like 2 weeks ago. with halogen infared bulbs, and the difference is huge. Especially when you turn your hi's on. Also I installed a relay kit about 4 days after the housing and bulbs. And that made my lights brighter. It was $94 for the relay kit(for all four lights), the bulbs are$34 a piece(so maybe you might want to try some other bulbs), and the housings were $394(for both, including shipping). I'll try and post some pics for you, if I can figure that out.

where did you get the HIR's ?

mike

I got the HIR's and the relay kit from daniel stern lighting. And housings from 5 star ford.

Maxx can correct me - but with the LVC GOld Member discount the housings are about $175 each - so if you had been a gold member, you would have saved about $35 -- $5 more then the cost of the membership.

No, they would'nt help.

The problem with the Gen1 headlights is the reflective coating INSIDE the housings. The heat of the bulb combined with the small overall sisze creates intense heat inside that cooks the material, and turns it to a black chalky material.

Putting higher wattage bulbs will do nothing but speed up the destruction of them. You need to replace the housings to get the reflectiveness back.

Here is an example of what the low beams looked like on my 94. These were removed after I bought a set of HIDs for it. Notice the black area in the low beams?
