I stuck some led's on the 95 yesterday and it looks ok. Pick it apart I know whats wrong, but I was tired, HID"S, LED"S with orginal bubble lenses

Looks great! I've been converting my LSC to all LED with HIDs, too.

I changed the inside lights on the front to be white LED on parking lights, but blink yellow.
All the tail lights are LED and it looks much brighter and much redder (including 3rd brake light).
All inside cabin lighting is LED (including map lights) and it looks nice bright white instead of the old dingy yellow.
I haven't done any dashboard, indicator, or switch lights yet; haven't decided what I'm gonna do there.

Any pics with the headlights off? I really wished you had a chrome grille on that car. Colored grilles on Gen 1's usually only work on black. It doesn't look horrible, don't get me wrong but it just doesn't look right or maybe I'm not used to seeing many colored grilles on Gen 1's. Lights look good though. Don't take the grille thing personally. Just thinking a nice chrome one would set it off a lot better, that's all.

I have done just about the same. LED'd out the entire car just about, except the dash lights. I would like to see your front blinker in action.

It's not as yellow as I had hoped, but it works. I'll see if I can't get some pics with the lights in both states when it's darker out.

After seeing the straight horizontal look LED's, I'm not to fond of it. I'll likely go back with what I had before I took them off. I have two pairs of 24" strips to play with. I'll come up with something. I might go with the upward turn on the inside, closest to the grille, instead of the outer edges going upward.

Talking about the white/yellow inner lights, I know what I have to do. The way it works now is the white is ALWAYS on, so when the yellow blinks, it looks kind of bleached out. I could add a couple relays so that when the light blinks yellow, the white circuit gets turned off - I think that would give me the yellow blink that I'm looking for.

If it wouldn't mess with the blinking system, I'd just remove my yellow bulbs completely and twist the socket back in the hole. They could care less around here about front blinkers. All they care about is speed for the most part.

I'm not doing it for THEM - what the he** is wrong with you? I only change things because I LIKE THE way it looks. :D

THEY can get over it... :shifty:

I'm not talking about the corner blinkers anyways, just those two by the grille.

On my Thunderbird, I pulled the inner light yellows completely (they don't blink anyways) and wired up a separate circuit so that they get bright with the high beams (a dual filament white bulb) - makes the whole front light look like one big bright light. It's kinda cool; I'll get some decent pics sometime to show you.

grill

I thought I had a little chrome peeling, but found the grill broken in a few places. I was going to only paint the lower half to see if it would give a wrap around effect. Looks good on a black car. Maybe paint the eyebrow and it will come together. I put led's on for safety, and they work great as DRL's. I have them inside the lens on my 98 and it makes a big difference. The reflection off the lens makes it look like the hdlts are on. The 95's wifes DD, not show cars like you guys have

I think it looks pretty cool, personally. I do think painting the eyebrow the same color would pull it together a bit better. The body color grill looks a little isolated with the chrome strip above and two strips below in the bumper.

I was thinking (there I go again ) paint the eyebrow just above the grill.Leave the chrome above the lights. What do you think?

eyebrow

I played a little today and this is first try Needs a little more. Does'nt look too bad for painted masking tape I have to taper it to flow with the shape of the lights Had to stop it started snowing

Those headlights are badass! I like it. The grill looks good painted, but I would do the whole chrome brow. The chrome brow is one of my least favorite mark viii features....

brow

I want to bring the painted part of the brow out a little more to the shape of the hdlts. The chrome left on the brow would blend with the lights and bumper chrome. Just having fun. Hey I paint masking tape real good. If I can find something that works then I paint the brow.
