here is what i am working on right now.

this is my friend Dick's car. its a 94 santa fe' gold with saddle interior, yes i know, i throw up in my mouth everytime i see it. but i have been working on this car for years now, very good customer. its only got 89k on it and he has owned it since 1996. it was crashed hard once a long time ago and repaired but the paint job was bad. it just got worse as time went by. he has done so much to this car as far as new parts the only thing left was to make it look good again, so he asked me to paint it. stock color, change the back window and rear quarter windows and send it down the road. i just did his headlights for him and put hid's in it. here is what it looks like right now after D.A'ing it over the weekend. by this coming sunday, it will be finished. it is ugly lol be for-warned....

what mouldings, the body side mouldings? or the chrome crap, the chrome is staying on, the side mouldings are staying on, he wants me to paint over the ols chrome strips in the side mouldings and the bumpers, i am painting it with the rear window and quarter glass completely out of the car, but the other stuff will be taped off.

it looks straight, but years ago it was smashed in the pass fender and door, i sanded down to the old filler, thats where i stopped. i got the back window out tonight, i was about 60% through cutting it last night, tonight i didnt want to even be at my shop, nevermind work on it, so i took a pipe to the back window and sped things up. not the frame is all cleaned up and ready for the new window, but i wont put that in till its painted. yes chris i do still have a bit to do before i paint, but i plan to be spraying friday night after work, or early saturday morning, have it untaped and back together saturday night, and lastly sat night i'll put the new back window back in and give it back to him sunday. we'll see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this was after smashing with a pipe and shop vac'ing everything up and cleaning the old urethane off the window frame. god what a night i hate working after work, it drains my ass to nothing.
