Hey guys, I've read several threads and I'm still somewhat at a loss on what my best options would be.

I picked up these wheels from USARim. 19X8.5 with 40 offset.

1) with the Eibach PRO-KIT Performance Springs p/n 3592.140, do I really need the 5.87545K Pro-alignment Kit ?

2) with the 8.5 all around but only lowering the front, could I go with 255/35's or should I play it safe and stay with the 245/35's

3) any tire brand or other size recommendations ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wow those look even better than they do in their ads.

That offset is money. I'd say 245/40 for the most sidewall (if you're feeling adventurous). Otherwise, 245/35.

My answers are in red.

You're going to get mixed reviews here. There are cheaper options out there from NAPA or Rock Auto tho.

2) with the 8.5 all around bit only lowering the front, could I go with 255/35's or should I play it save and stay with the 245/35's
I would stick with 245's just out of personal preference and experiences, and you can actually do a 245/40 for a little more protection, I rubbed with 255's on my Sentas

3) any tire brand or other size recommendations ?
Kumho Ecsta SPT are really good tires!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Those look great....

I'm basically doing the same thing soon.

My plan is for 245/40 Hankook V12's

Believe it or not I actually bought tires two days ago. I got Yokohama yk580's.

Those wheels are boss bigrig.

I have zero issues running 255's with eibachs, and they extra little bit of sidewall has saved me from accidentally curbing them numerous times already

Thanks for the input thus far guy, really appreciate the additional information.

I just noticed this on tirerack,

(sample)
P225/50R16 91S

P = When a tire size begins with a "P," it signifies the tire is a "P-metric" size that was designed to be fitted on vehicles that are primarily used as passenger vehicles. This includes cars, minivans, sport utility vehicles and light duty pickup trucks (typically 1/4- and 1/2-ton load capacity). The use of P-metric sizes began in the late 1970s and they are the most frequently used type of tire size today.

225/50R16 92S

If there isn't a letter preceding the three-digit numeric portion of a tire size, it signifies the tire is a "Metric" size (also called "Euro-metric" because these sizes originated in Europe). While Metric tire sizes are primarily used on European cars, they are also used on vans and sport utility vehicles. Euro-metric sizes are dimensionally equivalent to P-metric sizes, but typically differ subtly in load carrying capabilities.

to P or not to P ?

yeah, I'm leaning towards 245/40's on this 40 offset. seems to work for most.

Prices on tires these days, my god !!!

I think my Ultraleggeras are 40 offset, and I ran 255/40R18 just fine. 245/40R19 would be spot on to the stock tire size though, which is perfect.

245/35/19. 38et. Very low. Rubs in front.

My vote is for less tire, more offset :)

I'm not too concerned about it M4rk,

as I had mentioned in the other thread, USArim on eBay excepted my offer of,
$555,- on the Rims,
$195 Shipping via UPS to Canada.
$82 dollar tip to the UPS guy for the duty charges.

~ My dog bit his ankle on the way out the driveway. j/k

Nice wheels.

Thanks Alex but I do understand they are the more cost effective rims though.
I'm good with it as long as they don't split.

Thanks everyone for the input.

I'm thinking 245/40 R19 is going to be the magic number.
Only dropping the front with the Eibach springs. New standard shocks all around.

1) Won't need the chamber/alignment kit for the Eibach's ?
~ just have a wheel alignment done, rotate the wheels often and keep an eye on it ?

2) what about new fresh lug bolts (locking) ?

A very good alignment guy (with a helper) can do the alignment without the camber kit. But it makes it easier with it and only takes one person to align the car. Rockauto.com has the Moog camber kit for around $22, not sure about their prices to ship up north

Actually Stops, USARim is on eBay aswell.
Instead of searching for the Lincoln version of these which they didn't have available,
the Jaguar versions are the exact same rim.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/19-inch-Jag...Parts_Accessories&hash=item589cb3e54a&vxp=mtr

has plenty of them left. you can see the "offer" button, try 550$ see if they will take it. (or less)

center caps are just blanks though.

I speficied in a note to the seller that I needed them for a 2001 Lincoln LS and he replied back
that they would fit but that he didn't have any Lincoln center caps for them.

Oh cool ok, thanks. I'm still wondering if I can get 4 8.5 chrome Sentas from them haha. When the time comes we shall see
